Looks like we are here to stay in the double digits!
This morning was great and then the afternoon and evening came. Dun..dun..dun! I was pretty tired, grumpy, and bloated. On top of that, I was really craving a few things I can't have. What are they you ask. Well, since I've been thinking about them all afternoon I will tell you - nachos, margaritas, and chocolate. Oy Vey!!
Going back to the whole30 timeline, days 10 and 11 are the most common days people quite the challenge. At one point I really considered it, but decided to suck it up and keep going. I'm 1/3 of the way there and have been feeling good for most of it so it would be a bad idea to throw in the towel now. Tomorrow will be better.
Today's Spirits: Happy and energetic in the morning and a crap-fest the rest of the day.
Today's Food: I didn't eat a great lunch and need to focus on getting a healthy fat with every meal.
- 2 eggs, scrambled with a little evoo
- 1/2 avocado
- raspberries
- coffee, black
Meal 2:
- 1 egg, hardboiled
- roasted sweet potatoes (evoo, salt, & pepper)
- roasted green beans (evoo, salt, & garlic powder)
- water
Meal 3:
- sirloin steak, grilled (salt, pepper, sunny paris seasoning)
- roasted broccoli (evoo, salt, & pepper)
- cauliflower faux-tatoes (cauliflower, ghee, salt, & pepper)
- sparkling water
